Before surgery my prescription was -4 in each eye. As I could not stand to wear contact lenses, I played football unassisted at that prescription. It had led to the stage whereby I was going to give up the hobby I’ve loved to play ever since I could walk.

Now, the laser eye surgery means I can continue to play competitively as well as socially with friends with far more ease and confidence.

I also, for the first time in my life, can see properly and unassisted. To me, that’s a massive thing and can not thank the Optical Express team for opening my eyes to a brighter world, pardon the pun.
